The composite waterproofing membrane consists of basic infiltration material in the form of a plastic film and nonwoven geotextile fabric. Waterproofing properties of a composite waterproofing membrane generally depend on waterproofing properties of a plastic film. Today within the country and abroad waterproofing plastic films are generally made from polyvinylchloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE). These elements are high-molecular plastic materials with the easy specific weight, good tensile properties, high adaptability for deformation.
The waterproofing membrane possesses good resistance to corrosion, low temperature and a frost. The basic principle of its work consists that the drainage channel of an earth dam with a waterproof partition from a plastic film with its high explosive durability and tensile properties accept pressure of water and adapt a dam body to deformation; nonwoven fabric is also the high-molecular korotkovoloknisty synthetic material created by igloprobivny technology or way of a thermal fastening. It has the high explosive durability and tensile properties. After connection with a plastic film not only increases the explosive durability and resistance to a puncture, but also thanks to a roughness of a surface of nonwoven fabric, increases coefficient of friction of a surface of contact that does a composite waterproofing membrane and a protective layer by stabler. Besides material is well protected from bacteria, chemical reactions, influence of acids, alkali and salts.
Main application
It is used in construction of river dams, tunnels, for a waterproofing of reservoirs, at construction of constructions, transport roads and in other ecological projects.
