Chopped fiber glass

Chopped fiber glass is glass threads or vitreous fibers in the form of small pieces, pieces, they are stored in the plastic bags laid in cardboard boxes or on metal pallets.

It is added to simple construction concrete mixes on a building site or at first it is mixed with other bulk construction additives for concrete: a polypropylene fiber as it is steadier against alkaline structures which are formed in the course of chemical reaction between cement and water.

The standard sizes of chopped fiber glass - 300 microns of diameter and 12 mm of length. Areas of its application following: inhabited, commercial and industrial systems of floors, dry construction mixes, open parkings, the self-keeping within concrete, plaster, paving slabs, torkrt concrete.

Chopped fiber glass does not form dust, during the work with it it is not necessary to adhere to special security measures. The only thing that it is necessary to be afraid of is its hit on a mucous membrane and on skin. The first can cause a trauma, the second - skin irritation, an itch.

Unique properties consist that it much increases durability of any products and construction objects, including durability increases by a bend, a separation, torsion. Its application in thin layers of designs from five to hundred millimeters is especially effective, and also at inaccessibility of other types of reinforcing of designs.
