The electronic device the speech informant is intended for record and reproduction of speech information in a digital format. It is intended for use in subway cars, or in city transport (the bus, the tram) for the announcement of names of stops, etc., instead of outdated magnetic, tape data carriers. Advantages of the speech informant are that the driver of the vehicle does not have need to distract during driving and to declare via the microphone of the name of stops, (the intersection, the subway, establishments) or other announcements, for example a concession of seats for elderly or pregnant passengers and etc. The driver at the necessary moment presses the button of the speech informant and in salon the prepared announcement is reproduced. The following pressing of the button the next announcement of stops, etc. follows. At the request of the customer the memory size of the speech informant can be increased or reduced, depending on information volume.
