Fertilizers for agriculture

Humic fertilizers - these are the preparations consisting of substances of the organic nature of a natural origin and received from natural raw materials: peat, brown coal, sapropel. The origin and properties of raw materials are various, but they are united by existence in composition of humic substances. However the humic substances which are contained in these minerals pass into an active state and effectively influence the soil and plants only after activation.

Transfer of humic substances to a state, available to plants, happens by production of humic fertilizers. The increased temperatures, manure, a bird's dung, mineral connections, alkalis can be activators.

Depending on a way of production humic fertilizers can be divided on:

• humic preparations
• humic fertilizers

Humic preparations most often represent the humic acids or salts of humic acids purified of impurity, for example a sodium humate. They are used in small concentration as growth factors for spraying of seeds, crops, by soakings of tubers, shanks and saplings.

Humic fertilizers are also salts of humic acids, but at their receiving do not make separation from a substratum (peat, sapropel) and cleaning of impurity of humic connections. These are so-called ballast fertilizers. They are used as the main fertilizer under redigging, is more rare for top dressing. Apply humic fertilizers in quite high doses, as well as traditional organic fertilizers. And as they are not rich with basic elements of food, by production often enrich them with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and minerals. Such fertilizers call organo-mineral.
